Kristina is an Iowa singer-songwriter. She grew up religiously inhaling her dad’s vinyl records, the covers splayed out on the living room floor, and rocking with grandma on her organ bench, up in the church balcony, with the choir.
With familial roots straddling both Midwest heartland and Latin America, you may find Kristina singing in Spanish or Portuguese to bossanova, high-kicking loud rock songs backed by a symphony orchestra, crooning jazz standards, droning along with experimental electronica, or leading a sound bath in a yoga studio.
For Kristina, every sound, and the sacred space between sounds, is musical. Kristina is passionate about using sound as a tool for re-embodying ourselves, for expanding consciousness, connecting humanity, and building community…as music, to her, is both medicinal healing and joyful, invigorating play.
